The Mendenhall Glacier is a glacier about 13.6 miles (21.9 kilometers) long located in Mendenhall Valley, about 12 miles (19 kilometers) from downtown Juneau in the southeast area of Alaska. The glacier and surrounding landscape is protected as part of the Mendenhall Glacier Recreation Area, a federally designated unit of the Tongass National Forest.

July 3, 2022, Valdez, Alaska. Valdez harbor is a beautiful setting for all that represents Alaska fishing. Many will make their way to this harbor in hopes of catching salmon, halibut, and other sea fish. People can be seen throughout the harbor cleaning halibut, and the various fish they caught. Many will use this harbor as a starting point for the Prince William sound. The fishing industry will gather many salmon throughout the summer. These salmon will go on to other parts of the world.
