This photograph captures the Fontaine Saint-Michel, a grand monumental fountain located in the Place Saint-Michel in the Latin Quarter of Paris, France. The fountain, designed in the mid-19th century, features an impressive statue of the archangel Saint Michael slaying a dragon, symbolizing the triumph of good over evil. The fountain is flanked by two winged dragons, with water cascading from their mouths into the basin below. The structure is adorned with pink marble columns, ornate carvings, and inscriptions.
