Sculptured by Roublliac in 1755 this is a statue at Trinity College Cambridge University of Sir Isaac Newton 1643-1727 a famous English physicist, mathematician, astronomer, and alchemist. While at Trinity he developed his theory of gravitation after watching the fall of an apple from one of its trees.
