It is only a few hundred meters long but one of the most important and most used walkways in Jerusalem. Many tourists as well as locals use this path every day. The walls provided protection and security for the inhabitants of the Old City of Jerusalem for many centuries. The planting of palm trees makes the whole area look picturesque and beautiful.

It was used as a venue for music concerts with a capacity of 5,000. It lasted intact until it was destroyed and turned into a ruin by the Heruli in 267 AD. -
