The Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque is a stunning mosque located in Muscat, Oman. It was opened in 2001 and can accommodate up to 20,000 worshippers at a time, making it one of the largest mosques in the world.\n\nThe mosque is named after Sultan Qaboos bin Said al Said, who commissioned its construction. It features a blend of Islamic, Middle Eastern, and Omani architectural styles and boasts a number of impressive features, including a massive Swarovski crystal chandelier, the second largest hand-woven carpet in the world, and five minarets that rise up to a height of 90 meters.\n\nThe mosque is open to visitors of all faiths and is a popular tourist attraction in Oman. Visitors are asked to dress modestly and remove their shoes before entering the mosque. Guided tours are also available to provide more insight into the mosque's history and architecture.

Ramesseum, Theban Necropolis, Luxor, Egypt - July 22, 2022:  The Ramesseum is the memorial temple (or mortuary temple) of Pharaoh Ramesses II. It is located in the Theban Necropolis in Upper Egypt, on the west of the River Nile, across from the modern city of Luxor. The name – or at least its French form Rhamesséion – was coined by Jean-François Champollion, who visited the ruins of the site in 1829 and first identified the hieroglyphs making up Ramesses's names and titles on the walls.
