Viburnum dilatatum, commonly called linden viburnum because its leaves resemble those of the linden tree, is native to East Asia, including Japan. White flowers in showy, domed clusters appear in late spring (April to early June). Flowers give way to bright red fruits that mature to black in fall and winter. Berries are attractive to birds.

A dark and ominous sky hangs over the rugged Carpathian mountains and the Transfagarasan road that winds through this dramatic landscape in Transylvania, Romania. The Transfăgărășan or DN7C, also known as Ceaușescu's Folly, is a paved mountain road crossing the southern section of the Carpathian Mountains of Romania. It has national-road ranking and is the second-highest paved road in the country after the Transalpina.
Choisya ternata, or Mexican Orange is known for the quantity and fragrance of its flowers. It is native to the USA and Mexico but grows very well in the UK. The flowers have developed far enough for them to become bright white rather than the yellow-white when they are buds. Well focussed with stamens and stigmas clearly visible.
Stelvio Pass is an Alpine pass (2,756 m) at the northwest base of the Ortles mountain range in northern Italy alps near the Swiss border. One of the highest road passes in Europe, it connects the Venosta valley of the upper Adige River to the northeast with the Tellina valley of the upper Adda River to the southwest. The winding road affords scenic views of nearby glaciers.
