The Church of the Annunciation in Nazareth, Israel, is a revered Christian religious site that commemorates the announcement of the Virgin Mary's impending conception of Jesus by the angel Gabriel. It is one of the most significant holy places in Christianity. The church's architecture combines modern and traditional elements, and its focal point is the Grotto of the Annunciation, believed to be the location where the angel delivered the message to Mary. A suggestive perspective of the rear side of the Tempietto in the courtyard of the church of San Pietro in Montorio, located on the Janiculum hill in the historic district of Trastevere, in the heart of Rome. Built in 1510 by the architect Donato Bramante, the Tempietto (Small Temple) is considered a masterpiece of Renaissance architecture, with the search for a perfect balance of shapes and volumes. The circular plan and the relationship between the dome and the colonnade recalls the classical values of Roman architecture, such as the famous Temple of Vesta located in the Roman Forum. According to tradition, the Tempietto was built to celebrate the martyrdom of St. Peter, which supposedly took place on the Janiculum. Trastevere is an iconic district of the Eternal City, due to the presence of countless artistic and historical treasures, monuments and ancient Romanesque and Baroque churches, but also for its squares and alleys to be explored freely, where it is easy to find typical restaurants, pubs, small shops of artisans and scenes of daily life with the original Roman soul. In 1980 the historic center of Rome was declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco. Super wide angle and high definition image.

The rooftops of Rome with the National Monument of the Altare della Patria, the ancient Basilica of Santa Maria in Aracoeli and the Palazzo Senatorio (left) on the Capitoline Hill or Campidoglio, in the historic heart of Rome. Considered the sacred hill of ancient Rome, the Campidoglio is currently the seat of the Town Hall and the city government. The Altare della Patria, or Vittoriano, was built in 1885 in neoclassical style in honor of the first King of Italy, Vittorio Emanuele II near the Roman Forum, between the north side of the Capitoline Hill (Campidoglio) and the central Piazza Venezia. Inside is the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, a War Memorial dedicated to all the Italian soldiers who died in the war. The Altare della Patria is the scene of all the official Italian civic celebrations, in particular the Republic Day on June 2 and the Liberation Day on April 25. The Basilica of Santa Maria in Aracoeli or simply the church of Aracoeli is one of the oldest churches in Rome, built starting from the sixth century on the ruins of the Temple of Juno. In 1980 the historic center of Rome was declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco. Image in 16x9 and high definition format.
