Sarcophagus with the remains of King Maximillian II in a side chapel in the Theatine Church Theatinerkirche from 1690 which is built in an Italian High-Baroque style. It is one of the many churches in the German city Munich (the capital city in Bavaria) which has been damaged during Second World War but has been rebuild afterwards.
One of the three most important Christian temples in the Holy Land (along with the basilicas in Jerusalem and Bethlehem). It was built in the years 1961-1969 at the site of the Annunciation described in the Gospel of Luke. There was previously a synagogue, a Byzantine basilica and a Crusader cathedral on the site of the current basilica. The temple was designed by architect Giovanni Muzio. It has two levels: the lower church with the Grotto of the Annunciation and the upper church.

The tomb by the German sculptor Tilman Riemenschneider was created in 1499-1513. The Cathedral Church of St. Peter and St. George was founded in 1002. The current late Romanesque building was built in the 13th century.
