The majestic and stunning frescoed vault inside the church of Sant'Ignazio di Loyola (St. Ignatius of Loyola), in the historic and Baroque heart of Rome. The fresco, depicting the Glory of St. Ignatius, founder of the Society of Jesus (Jesuits), is one of the absolute masterpieces of the Roman Baroque. Painted by the artist Andrea Pozzo in 1685, this fresco almost entirely covers the vault of the church with a perspective representation that, between arches, clouds and columns, increases its space and volumes, effectively creating a virtual reality. The work depicts Christ (in the center) who radiates the figure of St. Ignatius and at the corners the allegories of the four continents known until then. In 1980 the historic center of Rome was declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco. Super wide angle image in high definition format.

The magnificent frescoes by Giotto inside the Basilica di San Francesco (Basilica of Saint Francis), in the medieval heart of Assisi, in Umbria. In the image, some of the 28 walls frescoed by Giotto between 1292 and 1305, illustrating the life of the Saint of Assisi, from his vocation to death. Over the centuries Assisi and the spirituality of these places have become a world reference point for peace, tolerance and solidarity between all the peoples and different confessions. The Umbria region, considered the green lung of Italy for its wooded mountains, is characterized by a perfect integration between nature and the presence of man, in a context of environmental sustainability and healthy life.
