A glimpse of the ancient remains of the Roman temple of Portico d'Ottavia in the Jewish quarter of Rome, or Roman Ghetto, in the historic heart of the Eternal City. The iconic Jewish neighborhood, the oldest ghetto in Europe, is famous for the presence of hidden alleys and small squares, where it is easy to find restaurants of Italian and Jewish cuisine, and remarkable Roman archaeological remains. The Ghetto of Rome is located in one of the oldest districts of the city between the Campidoglio, or Roman Capitol, and the River Tiber.
