The Baroque façade and staircase of the Church of Santi Domenico e Sisto, on the Quirinale hill, in the historic heart of Rome. This ancient Catholic church was built in the Monti district between 1569 and 1663, during the pontificate of Pope Pius V, by the architects Nicola Torriani and Vincenzo della Greca. The Monti district is a popular and multi-ethnic quarter much loved by the younger generations and tourists for the presence of trendy pubs, fashion shops and restaurants, where you can find the true soul of the Eternal City. This district, located between the Esquiline Hill, the Quirinal Hill and the Roman Forums, is also rich in numerous neoclassical palaces, Baroque-style churches and archaeological remains of the Ancient Rome. In 1980 the historic center of Rome was declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco. Super wide angle and high definition image.
