Lower Falls of the Yellowstone River is the tallest waterfall in Yellowstone National Park, plunging 308 feet (94 meters) into the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone. The falls are approximately twice the height of Niagara Falls. It is accessible via several viewpoints, including Artist Point, Lookout Point, and Red Rock Point, offering breathtaking views. The falls were first discovered by European Americans during the Washburn-Langford-Doane Expedition in 1870.
