Currently it is still the seat of the municipal government of the Tuscan city. Siena is one of the most beautiful Italian cities of art, in the heart of the Tuscan hills, in central Italy, famous for its immense artistic and historical heritage and for the Palio, where the seventeen districts of the city compete every year in Piazza del Campo in one of the oldest horse racing in the world.
