The color of Gorgonian Seafan Annella mollis varies and ranges from cream-colored to pink and orange. The close-meshed skeleton of the species in the family Subergorgiidae consists of fused sclerites and gorgonin, so it is extraordinarily flexible and thus perfectly adapted to strong currents.
