Common seadragon or weedy seadragon is a marine fish related to the seahorse. Adult common seadragons are a reddish color, with yellow and purple markings. Some have small leaf-like appendages that look like kelp. This provides protection from any enemy. They are related to the seahorse. This image was shot with a Nikon D3s camera and with a Tamron 16 - 300mm lens.

The species lives solitary or in groups, looking for benthic mollusks and crustaceans and some little fish mainly during night, whilst at day it rests among the rocks and corals.\nTriton Bay, Kaimana Regency, West Papua Province, \nIndonesia 3°55'1.0977 S 134°6'4.6351 E at 16m depth
