Ruins of St Pancras Thermae (Public Bath) in Taormina, Sicily, near the ancient site of Jupiter Serapis Temple from the late Hellenistic age (which ended 33 BC). The thermal building (which archaeologists have not conclusively established as public baths, although they appear to be) is dated to between the late imperial and the byzantine age. Behind it is the St Pancras Church, built in the 18th century with a baroque facade, over the ruins of the Jupiter Serapis Temple.
