The Coronado Bridge in San Diego:\n\n    Length: The bridge is approximately 2.1 miles (3.4 km) long, making it one of the longest in the region.\n\n    Curve: Its unique 90-degree curve was designed to ensure the bridge was long enough to reach the required height for ships to pass underneath without being too steep for vehicles.\n\n    Height: At its highest point, the bridge is about 200 feet (61 meters) above the San Diego Bay, allowing even large naval vessels to pass.\n\n    Construction: The bridge was constructed using 20,000 tons of steel and 94,000 cubic yards of concrete and opened in August 1969.\n\n    Toll History: The Coronado Bridge originally had a toll, which was removed in 2002 after the bridge's construction costs were fully paid off.\n\n    Traffic: Over 85,000 vehicles cross the bridge daily, making it a vital link between San Diego and Coronado Island.\n\n    Lighting: The bridge’s blue lights give it a striking appearance at night, adding to its iconic status in the San Diego skyline.\n\n    Awards: In 1970, the bridge won the Most Beautiful Bridge Award from the American Institute of Steel Construction due to its aesthetic design.\n\nThe Coronado Bridge is not only functional but also a significant part of San Diego's cultural and architectural identity.
