Gobeklitepe Archaeological Site is located in Orencik Village, 18 kilometers from Sanliurfa city center. The site was discovered in 1963 during a disaggregated survey in partnership with the Universities of Istanbul and Chicago and was known as the “V52 Neolithic Settlement”. The real value of the area began to emerge with continuous excavations after 1994. Following these studies, it was understood that Gobeklitepe was a cult center dating back 12000 years.

This is the oldest Synagogue in the world located on top of Masada. Many Bar Mitzvah's are held here each year. Masada is an ancient fortification in the Southern District of Israel situated on top of an isolated rock plateau on the eastern edge of the Judaean Desert, overlooking the Dead Sea. Herod the Great built palaces for himself on the mountain and fortified Masada between 37 and 31 BCE. UNESCO World Heritage Site.
