Bottlenose Dolphin Tursiops truncatus occurs in tropical and temperate waters of the Atlantic Ocean, the Indo-Pacific, the Mediterranean and the Black Sea in a depth range from 0-1300m depth, max. length 380cm. \nThese two Dolphin specimen were attracted by baitfishes of «bagans», of traditional fishing platforms. In the Triton Bay, they are a hot spot for whale shark watching. Thats where whale sharks are often seen with the head at or near the surface when feeding.\nThe photo was taken in a Bay East of Kaimana, West Papua Province, Indonesia, 3°34'50.958 S 133°49'22.272 E from 2m depth

Hector's dolphin (Cephalorhynchus hectori) is the best-known of the four dolphins in the genus Cephalorhynchus and is found only in New Zealand. At about 1.4 m in length, it is one of the smallest cetaceans. Hector's dolphin is the smallest of the delphinids.
