The Mission San Gregorio de Abo stands on a grassy field at the base of the Manzano Mountains in central New Mexico.  It is part of the Salinas Pueblo Missions National Monument.  Created from surround Abo sandstone, Abo was first inhabited in the 1300's, with this structure being built in 1629.  By the pueblo revolts of the late 1670's, both Native American people and Spaniard Franciscan monks left the area, leaving in their wake this amazing Christian mission, filled with rooms and kivas, along with man unexcavated mounds.

Landscape at The Living Desert State park near Broken Hill City, nestled amongst the Barrier Ranges.\nOn top of the highest hill inside the reserve are 12 sandstone sculptures, created in 1993 by a group of artists from all over the world, which are now one of the top attractions in Outback NSW.
This great Kiva stands on top of a small hill and is partly above ground. Measuring 20 meters in diameter and 4 to 5 meters deep, making it one of the largest known great kivas. Kivas are ceremonial places in Puebloan culture, as well as symbols of the cosmos. At sunrise on the summer solstice, a beam of light from a northeastern opening in the kiva precisely illuminates a niche in the far wall. Chaco Culture National Historical Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Centre in New Mexico.

Phyrigian Mounds\nA wide area in the vicinity of Gordion is full of mounds in varying sizes dating back to the period between the last quarter of the 8th century BC and the middle of the 6th century BC. The mounds are the tombs of the Phrygian nobles and notables. The Great Mound, which is the second biggest mound of Turkey with its height of 55m and a diameter of 300m, has a magnificent appearance.
