The oracle predicts the death of Admetus.\nAlcestis, in Greek legend, the beautiful daughter of Pelias, king of Iolcos. She is the heroine of the eponymous play by the dramatist Euripides ( c. 484–406 bce ). According to legend, the god Apollo helped Admetus, son of the king of Pherae, to harness a lion and a boar to a chariot in order to win Alcestis's hand.

The abbey of Sant'Angelo in Formis is located in Sant'Angelo in Formis, a hamlet of Capua. The abbey church has the dignity of a minor basilica. The church, dedicated to San Michele Arcangelo, rises along the western slope of Mount Tifata.
Chehel Sotoon Palace
Palace in Esfahan. Built as a pleasure pavilion and reception hall, using the Achaemenid-inspired talar (columnar porch) style, this beautifully proportioned palace is entered via an elegant terrace that perfectly bridges the transition between the Persian love of gardens and interior splendour. The 20 slender, ribbed wooden pillars of the palace rise to a superb wooden ceiling with crossbeams and exquisite inlay work. Chehel Sotun means ‘40 pillars’ – the number reflected in the long pool in front of the palace.

This is the original Joker playing card from the 'Shakespeare' 1895 deck, produced by Bernhard Dondorf in Germany for the London company C. W. Faulkner & Co. This card shows the Joker riding on the back of a donkey. Curiously, the quotation at the bottom 'Laugh and the world laughs with you' is not from Shakespeare, but from (Solitude) by 19th century poet Ella Wheeler Wilcox. After 1902, this deck was published by Dondorf with different Jokers and plain Aces of Spades as 'No 192'. C. W. Faulkner and Co. operated from Golden Lane in London, EC1. From 1882 they worked as lithographers, and also printed in gravure. Their best-quality playing cards were those printed in Germany, some by Dondorf, prior to the First World War. C. W. Faulkner and Co. were best known for their postcards and greetings cards, including Misfitz, which they produced until about 1920. The company closed in 1956.
