$Striped Poison-fang Blenny Mimic Petroscirtes breviceps occurs in the tropical Indo-West Pacific from East Africa to Papua New Guinea, north to southern Japan, south to New Caledonia in a depth range from 1-15m usually to 10m, max. length 11cm. \nAdults inhabit coastal reefs and estuaries in sandy and weedy areas among clumps of Sargassum or other seaweeds. They also take shelter and nests inside small-necked bottles and abandoned worm tubes or shells. \nThey feed on small crustaceans, diatoms, and perhaps other plant material associated with such clumps. They use their fangs defensively and will not hesitate to bite if handled, thus, species of this genus are avoided by predators. \nThese specimen live at 5m depth on a mooring line of a buoy that marks an outer reef. The photo was taken in the late afternoon when it was almost dark already. \nTriton Bay, Kaimana Regency, Indonesia, 3°56'19.752 S 134°7'15.198 E at 5m depth$

In the depths of the water, bright orange corals stand out against the rocky background. Their intricate, textured surfaces add vibrant pops of color, creating a mesmerizing underwater landscape filled with natural beauty and marine life.

$Ascocoryne sarcoides is a species of fungus in the family Helotiaceae. The species name is derived from the Greek sarkodes (fleshy). Formerly known as Coryne sarcoides, its taxonomical history has been complicated by the fact that it may adopt both sexual and asexual forms. Colloquially known as jelly drops or the purple jellydisc, this common fungus appears as a gelatinous mass of pinkish or purple-colored discs. Distributed widely in North America, Europe and Asia, A. sarcoides is a saprobic fungus and grows in clusters on the trunks and branches of a variety of dead woods. Field studies suggest that colonization by A. sarcoides of the heartwood of black spruce confers some resistance to further infection by rot-causing fungi. A. sarcoides contains the antibiotic compound ascocorynin, shown in the laboratory to inhibit the growth of several Gram-positive bacteria.\nHabitat and distribution:\nThis species has a broad distribution in forested areas of North America and Europe. A saprobic fungus, it derives nutrients from decaying organic matter, and as such is usually found growing on the stumps and logs of fallen deciduous trees. However, it is also found on a variety of living trees as well. For example, in Europe it has been found on the stems of living spruce (Picea abies) in Finland, France, Great Britain, Norway, and Germany. \nA. sarcoides occurs most frequently in late summer and autumn (source Wikipedia).\n\nThis is a common Species in Dutch Forests.$

The picture appears to be an underwater scene, possibly from an aquarium or similar environment. It features several jellyfish. On the top of the rock, there are two pale, nearly translucent jellyfish with visible umbrella-shaped bells and short tentacles. Below on the sandy bottom, there appears to be a group of smaller, similar jellyfish with a more pronounced white color, possibly due to the reflection of the light. The rocks have a greenish tinge, suggesting the presence of algae or other marine plants. It gives an overall calm and serene impression, with the jellyfish suspended in the water or resting gently on the surfaces.
