Istanbul, Turkey - June 23, 2024:Paşabahçe Ferry was built in Taranto, Italy in 1952 upon the request of Turkey. Paşabahçe, with a length of 73.84 meters and a width of 12.98 meters, served as a passenger ship capable of 18 knots. For many years, it organized voyages on the Kabataş - Adalar - Yalova route. After Yalova became a province in 1995, Yalova voyages were terminated. Decommissioned in 2010, Paşabahçe Ferry underwent a comprehensive renovation process at the Haliç Shipyard in 2022 and was put back into service with new navigation systems and four-stroke diesel engines. It is currently known as the most powerful and fastest ferry of Şehir Hatları.
