Eastern chipmunk stretching out on rock, a funny and endearing pose. Twenty-four of the world's 25 chipmunk species live in North America, but only this species is found in the east. The chipmunk is one of the most curious animals, fascinated by human doings. They can even seem to enjoy human company.
