Saint King Louis 9th created Sainte Chapelle in 1248 to house Christian relics, including Christ's Crown of Thorns.  Stained Glass created in the 13th Century and shows various biblical stories along wtih medieval stories from 1200s.

The complex of Scaliger Tombs (Italian: Arche scaligere) is one of the most outstanding examples of Gothic art. The complex includes five Gothic funerary monuments to celebrate the Scaliger family, who ruled in Verona from the 13th to the late 14th century.
