Paramaribo, Suriname: Waterkant (Waterfront) is the oldest street in Paramaribo, located on the Suriname River waterfront. Due to its iconic appearance, it forms a central part of the historic city center of Paramaribo, which has been protected by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Many of the original buildings were lost during the city fire of 1821 . After the fire, the architect Johan August Voigt gave Paramaribo a new cityscape by erecting an ensemble of monumental buildings on the Waterkant.

Saint George's, Grenada: the Grenada National Museum serves as a repository for the island's rich heritage. Housed in a historic building that once served as a French barracks and later as a female prison, the museum was established in 1976 to preserve and showcase Grenada's history and culture. Its diverse exhibits cover various aspects of Grenadian life, including archaeology, colonial history, slavery, indigenous Arawak and Carib artifacts, and the island's natural history. The museum also features displays on more recent events, such as the U.S. intervention in 1983.
