Amagansett U.S. Life Saving Station where U.S. Coast guardsman John Cullen was stationed on June 13, 1942, when he encountered  four German saboteurs on the Amagansett beach just after midnight.  This building, also referred to as the U.S. Coast Guard Station, was originally built in 1902.  It has since been restored, and is now the home of the Amagansett U.S. Life Saving Museum.
