This photograph was taken in France on June 17, 2023. The source of Fontestorbes is a large exsurgence, of the Vaucluse type and one of the ten largest in France, located in Ariège in the commune of Bélesta, about one kilometer south of the village, along the departmental road no. in Fougax-et-Barrineuf. It looks like a monumental porch opened in the cliff limiting the plateau of Sault to the north, from which a veritable river 5 meters wide springs in cascades and with a deafening noise. After only 50 meters of cascading course in the open air, this river immediately flows into the Hers-Vif, on the right bank of this watercourse, the flow of which it more than doubles.

An idyllic cityscape of the old town of Matera, in southern Italy, known worldwide as 'Sassi di Matera' (Matera's Stones). At the center stands the majestic facade and the bell tower of the Duomo, or Cathedral of the Madonna della Bruna and of Sant'Eustachio, built in the Apulian Romanesque style in the 13th century. The ancient city of Matera, in the region of Basilicata, is one of the oldest urban settlements in the world, with a human presence that dates back to more than 9,000 years ago, in the Paleolithic period. The Matera settlement stands on two rocky limestone hills called 'Sassi' (Sasso Caveoso and Sasso Barisano), where the first human communities lived in the caves of the area. The rock cavities have served over the centuries as a primitive dwelling, foundations and material for the construction of houses, roads and beautiful churches, making Matera a unique city in the world. In 1993 the Sassi of Matera were declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco. Super wide angle image in 16:9 and High Definition format.
