Dazu rock carving has been classified as UNESCO World Heritage, Chongqing, China
The Giant Sitting Buddha Statue of Leshan, China is a captivating historical landmark of the region. It's 71-metres tall (233 ft) and was built between 713 and 803 AD.  The statue is one of the largest Buddha statues in the world and experiences a great amount of tourism annually. Visitors can view the statue from the top of the mountain, take stairs down to ground level, and catch a scenic cruise that props visitors right in front of it. What a marvel!

Grotto No.18 was obviously f a little bit Gandhara style, which was the blending  western and eastern cultures. Grotto No.18 was the most luxurious grotto in Yungang. The face of statue in center was sculptured according to Emperor Taiwu of Northern Wei (Tuoba Tao).  The kasaya with thousands of Buddhas was memorized  the buddhists he killed in his region.
