Venice, Veneto, Italy: Santa Maria del Rosario (Saint Mary of the Rosary), commonly known as 'I Gesuati', is an 18th-century Dominican church in the Sestiere of Dorsoduro, on the Giudecca canal. Built for the Dominicans on a property acquired after the extinction of Jesuates order (no connection with the Jesuits). It was completed in 1755 to a design by Giorgio Massari.

Venice, Veneto, Italy: Grand Canal and the Cavalli-Franchetti palace seen from the Accademia bridge with the Santa Maria della Salute church in the background. Built in 1565, as the Palazzo Cavalli-Gussoni. In 1878 it was acquired by Baron Raimondo Franchetti (1829–1905) who had it rebuilt in 1896 by the architect Camillo Boito, who designed the rear wing of the building and the staircase in a neo-Gothic style. Since 1999, the palace has been another seat of the Venetian scientific and cultural institution Istituto Veneto di Scienze, Lettere ed Arti.
