Crown imperial plants
Crocosmia, commonly called Montbretia, is a flowering plant in the iris family, Iridaceae. It produces decorative slumps of sword-shaped leaves and brilliant wands of fiery red and orange tubular flowers on a horizontally branched stem. The flowers are bloom from early summer to autumn. The flower is hermaphrodite and pollinated by insects, birds and by the wind.
