St. John's wort (Hypericum perforatum) is a flowering shrub native to Europe. It gets its name from the fact that it often blooms on the birthday of the biblical John the Baptist.\n\nThe flowers and leaves of St. John's wort contain active ingredients such as hyperforin. St. John's wort is available as a supplement in teas, tablets, liquids and topical preparations.\n\nPeople use St. John's wort to treat depression and menopausal symptoms.
Yellow leguminous flower, useful for both opening up and binding the soil. Other common names include Baby's Slippers, Bacon And Eggs , Bird's Foot Trefoil and Birdfoot Deervetch. It is mildly poisonous.

Aquilegia or Columbine is perennial wildflower, which is native to most temperate areas of the world. It tends to cross-pollinate, hybridize, and self-seed freely, creating new strains and colors. Columbine flowers come in many different colors, including red, pink, white, yellow, blue and purple. They bloom in late spring to early summer and self-seed readily if not deadheaded.
