Spanish bluebells are also known as Spanish squill and Wood hyacinth. The 'bells' on Spanish bluebells grow all round the stem, whereas on the English or Common bluebell the 'bells' grow on one side only, giving a slightly lopsided appearance. Spanish bluebell variants are the most common bluebells that are grown in English gardens. Bright and well focussed close-up.
