Ceramic plaque in the covered wash house in Cote D'Azur resort of Saint Tropez, known as Lavoir Vasserot - Laverot Wash House, after it's architect and creator and honorary citizen of Saint Tropez, Charles Albert Vasserot. It was built in 1861 - featuring three basins, one for coloured clothes, one for whites and one for rinsing. It is now a listed historic monument and used as a cultural space.

Despite the adopted name  of Claude Vignon, she was born Marie-Noémi Cadiot on 12 December 1828 she was also known as Noémi  Constant and one of her literary pseudonyms was that of Claude Vignon. Besides being a writer of note she was also a sculptor and journalist.The Avenue is named in her honour because she died on 10 April1888 in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat and was later buried at the Père Lachaise Cemetery in Paris.
