Arch Canyon is a picturesque location located along the Ajo Mountain Drive in the Sonoran Desert of southern Arizona, near the border with Mexico. Arch Canyon is named for the natural arch formation that can be found within the canyon. The arch itself is a stunning geological feature created by erosion over thousands of years. It is composed of ancient volcanic rock and stands as a testament to the forces of nature that have shaped the landscape of the region.
