The Amsterdam Police Department, after a week long investigation into the vandalism that occurred at the Amsterdam Municipal Golf Course on VanDyke Avenue on September 22, have made arrests in connection with that incident. The investigation revealed that 5 individuals entered one of the buildings where member’s golf carts are stored, took 5 carts out on to the golf course and damaged the carts by driving them into each other causing in excess of $7,000.00 worth of damage to the carts. The following have been arrested and charged with one count each of Criminal Trespass in the third degree and Criminal Mischief in the fourth degree: Richard J. Green, 29 years old, of 8 Clinton Street, Amsterdam Joshua Green, 18 years old, of 1625 County Highway 107, Amsterdam Luis E.
