Have you calculated the potential that Coles could operate for another 100 or 200 years or more? How much savings would that be? Newspaper and printing companies charge significant amount of money for each additional character in your advertisement. From environment perspective, significant ink requirements are reduced if the number of characters are minimised that could fully communicate the intent of the message. Is Coles an environmentally friendly company as described in their mission statement or values section in their web page? Nothing will change due to interesting reasons, but could future product designers note this observation for the design of future products in support of local brands?
