Keywords: One of 50 early colour images that I recently acquired through eBay, listed as colour lantern slides. All are captioned and date from the late 1920s or 1930. The photographer is simply identied as "C.L." and identified on one as "Charles Lea". But other than some pictures appearing to be in his own garden, and one possibly of the front of his house, there are no further clues as to who he was. He was clearly though a keen and talented photographer, and an enthusiastic horticulturist. Copyright status is unknown until we can find out who C.L. was, so for now I am sharing them in good faith as orphan works. kewgardens kew slide glassplate glassslide autochrome earlycolour
