These participants filled 169 contractor bags full of trash removed from public lands. This effort was in partnership with the Rocky Mountain Jamboree and Sevier County. Multiple clubs also participated in the event as well as registered individuals. Participants received a fee-free pass to public lands, a T-shirt, gloves, and trash bags to fill. Throughout the five-day event, it is estimated that each participant spent four hours volunteering and picking up trash on public lands. This adds up to approximately 684 volunteer hours! Participants also learned about Tread Lightly! throughout the week while enjoying the fall colors, sunshine, rain, and even snow.
