Lots of Great Crested Grebe, Tufted Ducks, Coots and a few cormorants all diving for food. A lot of Mute Swans and juveniles too. 19 species today, not counting the Gulls, but failed to spot the Long Tailed Duck, the Pintails or the Golden Eye. I managed to get 4 miles in around the lake while I was looking for the elusive wildfowl so not a bad result. 05/01/2017 A last minute decision to go to Westport Lake didn't throw up any firsts today but there was plenty to see.
