Whenever we're in Finland we like to catch up with our lovely friends Karin and G, and today we met not in Helsinki but out in a town called Porvoo. It's a fabulous place, with an old town that's really, really old! We had awesome cake in the most fabulous cafe, then walked the riverside. Doing a teeny bit of research last night, I discovered that we could actually return to Helsinki on a steam cruiser. It was a three and a half hour voyage against a forty minute bus ride, but much, much more touristy! We got lots of lovely views of the coast, but shot of the day today belongs to Lingy the Bear, who enjoyed the ride very much. He waved at a little baby on the boat who didn't seem to notice him, but it was a different story on the metro! Lingy was sitting on top of Laura's camera bag as we got on the train and a little boy in a pram went nuts pointing at him! :) It's a tough one to choose today!
