That's a good starter for ten, but we've still got the problem at my school of having a large and hilly campus. We'll do our absolute best to get things moving again. Today's jobs were a bit tedious, including recharging and defrosting my Mum's car. That took a while as the battery was flat and I had to basically chip my way into the bonnet to charge it again! As some of you may know, I'm always happy to pass on the benefits of my wisdom and experience. This top tip could be particularly useful as not even the brightest of people could be expected to work this one out. Are you ready? When removing your Christmas trees from the house, don't forget about the one on the very top floor until after all the other trees have been removed and the place cleaned up. Oh dear. The bits got bloody everywhere, and I've still more hoovering to do. In my defence, I feel I should say... ...nothing really. As a physicist we're used to giving credible explanations to sometimes unusual observations - that's why we make such good bullshitters - but I guess that above all else I remain a pragmatist.
