It really is terrible! Still, it goes to show that I support the principle that what matters most in the 365 concept is that the picture can tell a story, even a tiny one, about the day, and this one can. The suitcases came in, as promised, on the 10:30 flight from Amsterdam and I got a call to go and collect them. I didn't fancy risking the ten minute window on the drop off car park, so I went into the multi storey. In there, I was able to confirm what Dave had spotted on the approach to the airport. We had an unusual visitor! Sadly, I didn't have my camera, so I had to use the mobile, and even if you're familiar with the aircraft you might struggle to spot the Airbus A300-600ST sitting on the apron. It's more commonly known as the Beluga, and this was Beluga number 4. It's certainly an odd visitor to Speke Airport as the plane is very unusual in having an absolutely immense volume capacity but a relatively low payload. This means that it's great at moving very large, very light things (like aeroplane parts - the thing it was designed for) but not very good at moving heavy goods. I've no idea why it was at Speke, but if anybody knows then let me know! I think this is a contender for the worst shot I've included as part of either my 365s. It really is terrible!
