That done, we came back to the multi storey car park to this wonderful sight! I'd never really thought of the Rover 800 as a big car - I actually got it as a downsize from an XJ Jaguar because of spiralling petrol prices - so I hadn't really realised just how long it is. Until now. Fair enough - the car next to me is a Smart Car and probably one of the shortest things on the road, but even so the difference is plain to see! What you can't see is that my car is actually parked a foot further FORWARD than the one next to me! Maybe I should look for something smaller but something the size of a Smart Car holds very little practicality. Sure, for a commute to work it would probably be ok, but if I wanted to save the planet doing that I can always turn to my 120mpg 125cc motorcycle. Apologies for the dreadful picture quality, but it's another mobile phone shot in a dark place.
