Much as she'll deny that she's even a bit girly, Laura was happy to remind me that today marks two years of UK residence for her. There's nothing legally significant about that, but it's a nice milestone for us. Oh, and fair play to the girl, it's not quasi-random - it's a fair enough anniversary. :) Of course, we could have celebrated with a romantic candle-lit dinner for two. But instead, we got the lemon tarts that Laura bought earlier today and ate them with squirty cream.
