Edinburgh to Inverness, via a quick visit to RAF Leuchars, takes us across the Forth Bridge and the Tay Bridge both of which are amazing. We didn't leave Edinburgh until ten, and we got a bit held up at lunch due to an unexpected event, so we didn't end up reaching Inverness until half five, so we just caught the last of the daylight. Anyway, our bridges in this pic are, clockwise from Bottom left, the Forth Road Bridge, the Forth Rail Bridge, the Tay Rail Bridge and finally the bridge over the Ness, which is the view from the balcony of our very, very swish apartment for the next three nights. :) Definitely a day of bridges today.
