Sometimes I get to shoot some interesting things, and today one of the youngsters brought in a 1914 Princess Mary Christmas Gift Tin. These were funded by subscription from a grateful public, and were the brainchild of Princess Mary, then 17. They were sent to military personnel on active service. This one was in beautifully prisine condition, and was complete with the .303 bullet cartridge pencil and greeting card (in this case, the New Year's card, showing it was distributed after Chrismas) from Princess Mary. A lovely, lovely thing. Isn't this fabulous! Sometimes I get to shoot some interesting things, and today one of the youngsters brought in a 1914 Princess Mary Christmas Gift Tin.
