Mine came tonight after Laura had a bulb go pop in her lamp. We went to Asda to buy a new bulb - no problem there. She screwed it in, and voila! Absolutely nothing. I then surmised that the 3A fuse in the plug probably let go when it all went pop, so I then had to turn the house upside down to try and locate a fuse! Eventually I found one - liberated from a spare cable off some device that lived long ago. The irony...the fuse wasn't the problem - the lamp is still broken. I'll poke it some more tomorrow, as there's not exactly a lot to go wrong with a metre of cable and two bits of brass. In the mean time enjoy a dodgy photo of a fuse.
