But the 'other summer', the five/six weeks when the kids are off, is over with the end of August. To be honest, it's a summer that Dave and I are both bloody glad to see the back of. On other matters, today was a rare day of physical labour for me. I managed to clean the shower in the cellar, fit a replacement shower pump to the shower in the guest room and then spend an evening deweeding and pressure washing the courtyard. Some of the stuff got burned away, and that's what this little fire is all about. I just know that when I wake up tomorrow I'm going to hurt. A lot. Ah well.
