For the past two years it hasn't rained, and today made it three out of three! Result! For the first time since forever I elected to leave the camera bag at home, and I just had the compact with me for photo of the day purposes. It was a good move. The show was fun to watch and a nice length at two hours. The star display was possibly a chap in a little autogyro doing nigh on impossible things with it. Still, my principle is that on a day I see the Reds they feature in my photo. This is a shot I'd never normally get because I'd be on a much tighter zoom. This is the gypo pass, where gypo formation split into two and fly into each other at low altitude at an 800mph closing speed. Nice. Sadly the Reds were an 8 ship formation today as the lovely Kirsty was at the hairdressers again. ;) Today was the Blackpool Airshow.
